Longlegs Trefoil

Longlegs Trefoil is beautifully unique: a small center circle and six long legs each with a trefoil at the end. Thread the legs through the spaces of another flower, from front to back or vice-versa. Then combine with another flower in the center. Super!

Longlegs Trefoil Pattern

Round 1 - Circle: ch 2, 5 sc into 2nd ch from hook; ss (counts as sc) into 1st st to join. SM this ss as we will work the last leg into this ss (6 sts worked.)

Round 2 - Legs: *ch 12, ss into 4th ch from hook - 1st trefoil leaf made.

(Ch 4, ss into 4th ch from hook) twice - 2nd and 3rd leaves made.

Skip your 3 leaves and ss into each of 8 remaining ch on leg; ss into same st on circle where you began this leg, ss into next st*

Repeat from * to * 5 times, omitting ss into next st at end of last repeat.

Tie off; weave this end into the back of the circle starting at the base of the 1st leg.
